World famous fetish model Rebecca has been on the fetish scene since age 17. She's been performing and organizing dancers and performers for fetish party pioneers Fetish Factory in South Florida since the inception of their long-running monthly fetish event. She's has worked recreationally and professionally as a dominatrix, and has run her own dungeon. Her latex collection is a thing of legend, in fact she is responsible for several of her own personal designs. Rebecca has collaborated with many of the top fetish models and photographers in the international scene and has her own website showcasing her work at RebeccasRubberRoom.com. She is a sultry and enigmatic figure and has graciously granted us this rare, up close and personal interview.

Eros Zine: How long have you been into the fetish lifestyle? What was the earliest fetish moment you can remember?

Rebecca: I have been interested in the scene from my much later teens, but really started to become involved in the lifestyle when I was around 19. The earliest moment that i can recall is the first time I experimented with candle wax, and I've never been the same since!

Eros Zine: How long have you been working with Fetish Factory coordinating the entertainment at the parties? What has been the most challenging thing about this job?

Rebecca: I started to work with the Fetish Factory at the birth of Alter Ego, which is now 11 years ago! I started out just doing go-go dancing at some of the events. Funny, I honestly have no idea how I started coordinating the entertainment, but I cannot thank Glenn and Donna enough for allowing me to do it for all these years. The most challenging thing about this job I would have to say is trying to continue coming up with fresh ideas over so many years.

Eros Zine: I know you have an enormous collection of latex clothing and accessories. When did your obsession with latex begin? What is your favorite piece; the one you couldn't live without? How did you learn latex repair?

Rebecca: I knew absolutely nothing about latex clothes until I met Glenn and Donna , I had several pieces of vinyl clothing, some gothic stuff and whatnot, but I can honestly say the day I walked into the Fetish Factory when it first opened and the scent of rubber hit me, it was a whole new experience for me! Then of course I started playing dress up and once I felt it on me, I was shaking hands with my new addiction! I would have to say my favorite is my hoods; it is what really completes the encased feeling for me. I started repairing latex, mainly because desperate times call for desperate measures! I had a serious rip in a stocking that i needed for later that night so i had to put the latex repair kit to the test! Since I have sewn costumes for a good portion of my life, I was familiar with working with different fabrics.

Eros Zine: You worked as a dominatrix for awhile. How did you get your start? Did you enjoy being a pro? Do you still occasionally dominate professionally or are you strictly recreational?

Rebecca: Yes, I was a Dominatrix years ago, I had started getting involved in it when I was about 19 just working sessions with a Dominatrix friend of mine, ended up going on my own eventually and continued for about 6 years after. I did enjoy being pro at that time, But over the years I had started to loose interest and wanted to experience more of my own fetishes which has actually brought me back to me being more of a bottom than a top in the recent years. Sometimes even the dominant ones need to give in! I do not dominate professionally anymore; I tend to enjoy it A LOT more when it is more personal.

Eros Zine: What was the strangest request you ever got from a client while you were working as a pro domme?

Rebecca: Oh Lord, you have no idea! Without choosing one specific incident, I will say that I hope I have heard it all!

Eros Zine: What sort fetishes really get you hot? Which ones are you totally not into? Are there any that you absolutely cannot stand?

Rebecca: I'm a Rubberist, no doubt about it! Being head to toe, fully encased is what "gets me hot!" Amongst other kinks I have, latex is my one true fetish. I have never really been into much of the age play scene; it's one of the fetishes I never really "got."

Eros Zine: When you date someone on a full-time basis, do you maintain a dom/sub bdsm relationship with them or is it pretty much different? Do you currently have a boyfriend / girlfriend / full-time slave?

Rebecca: Most of the relationships I've had in the past with an exception of one or two unfortunately didn't really involve bdsm at all and pretty much ended because of that reason. Yes , I do currently have a boyfriend that is into the bdsm scene, we don't really have a Dom/sub relationship, we are both interested in each other's fetishes, but lets just say when it's time to play, I know my place! [smiles]

Eros Zine: Which are your favorite photographers to work with? Are there any that you would like to work with that you haven't yet?

Rebecca: There are quite a few photographers that i have done some great shoots with, a couple of my favorites have been Belgium Marc, and Michael Diamond from erosartist.com. I really enjoy working with them especially since there is more of a friendship during shoots rather than just the typical model/photographer relationship. I am a huge fan of Christine Kessler's work as well as Christophe Mourthé and would love the opportunity to work with them.

Eros Zine: What are your favorite models to work with when shooting? Also, what was it like performing with Rubberdoll at the Fetish Factory 11-Year Anniversary?

Rebecca: From shoots I have done in the past, some of the most memorable have been with Brandy Wirtz when we were in Jamaica for Kink in the Caribbean; we had great chemistry together and a lot of fun. And of course Rubberdoll was great to work with as well. After my many years of doing stage performances, me and Rubberdoll had gotten together for the 10 year anniversary of Fetish Factory's Alter Ego and did some amazing work together. We had continued the duo for quite a few events following that, so the 11-year was just as great as the first performance. It's not easy to find performers that click that well on stage.

Eros Zine: Your website says your performances range "from playful to extreme". What's an example of the "extreme?"

Rebecca: The "extreme" shows are anything that is pretty much not accepted at a normal "vanilla" event! I do performances all over south Florida on a regular basis, but a lot of the clubs don't want anything too wild. They want to keep it more of the go-go dancing and playful spankings on beautiful girls to avoid scaring their crowd with anything too heavy! But , I have also done piercing shows, total encasement , strap-ons, etc. and basically "real" scenes on stage that are definitely more bizarre than the average South Beach audience can handle or even understand!

Eros Zine: Thanks, Rebecca! Readers can find out more about Rebecca at RebeccasRubberRoom.com. And if you're in South Florida, be sure to drop by one of Fetish Factory's Alter Ego parties to catch one of Rebecca's performances.
